I have a 55W solar panel that I would like to add to the flexible 50W on the roof. Is it just a matter of splicing the +ve & -ve to the existing wiring going to the controller?

Other than opening a window has anyone added a vent, or two, on the side of their TD? Which one? Is it powered? Was the install easy?
