Hi everyone, I'm the proud new owner of a 2022 Teardrop we were able to purchase from a family who outgrew their trailer.
It's late in the season and we won't have a chance to camp until spring but I'm trying to gather what I need to have her ready to go as soon as the weather is nice.
There are no screens in our side door windows. Are there screens originally? Any tips on replacing or rigging something up?
Hi everyone! We are getting the trailer set up for use this summer and I'm now looking at where the screen should go. I'll share some photos. Should the screen only cover the bottom half of the window? I'm not sure how it would be installed at the top or if it just terminates.
I'm not sure I explained this well - since the bottom window slides up and down, should the screen only cover below the tabs used to open and close? I don't see a ridge to install the screen tape in along that top edge but perhaps there isn't meant to be anything to clear the top edge of the screen.
This lady explains it way better then me.... https://youtu.be/1vBS-UP37fI
Hi Amy. Congrats on the new teardrop. If you bought one of our trailers, then it definitely had screens on both doors. You can get a kit at home depot. Screen, thin rubber and a roller. ( looks like a mini pizza cutter ) you cut the screen a little larger then the required amount. Place the screen over the area. You will see a small ridge all around the door frame. Place the screen over the ridge, place the thin rubber over the ridge, and use your mini pizza cutter to jam the rubber and screen into the ridge.
