Things have been very difficult for everyone since 2020 has started. We are in a new year and the question still comes up: Is it a good idea to go Camping right now?
We encourage everyone to follow the CDC rules and carefully analyze the location where you are planning to go Camping. “ Winter is officially here, and many are looking to camp as a way to escape their city for a socially distanced getaway. Camping is considered by some experts to be one of the least risky activities, so we rounded up some great camping locations.”
We left Vermont before thanksgiving and just returned. We traveled over 6,000 miles from Vermont to north Florida to New Mexico and Colorado then back. We camped in our teardrop while on the road and during visits to Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Taos. Most nights in the teardrop were in the 20’s so we stayed in RV parks where we could use the 20 amp service to run our little heater and use our electric blanket. Solar power ran the refrigerator and our lights. Other than RV parks the campgrounds in colder areas were closed.
